UKPPG Prides Ourselves on the Highest Standards and Levels of  PPG Training in the UK.

All of our UKPPG courses are open ended NOT Limited to a certain number of Days or time periods, offering you to
Learn at your own Speed and Convenience.

UKPPG unlike many other training centres, offers ALL of the equipment that you will need to learn to fly safely,
Saving you money until you are sure that you will like the sport.

Our Comprehensive Training Course cover a very thorough Wing Control Process and Full Understanding of your equipment, Full Paramotor and Engine Training and all of our students train on our SUPPLIED New Quality Equipmen, right through to Helmets Intercomms and Gloves, All we ask you to supply is your Boots. All of our students unlike other PPG Training Schools stay with us until you have completed a minimum of 15-20 Flight. Within these flights you will learn everything you require to go and fly on your own being fully competant and knowledgable.

UKPPG also boast a unique PPG Flight Simulator that allows beginners to  understand and master, all of the in-flight experiences, which you would normally only find out about when you take your first flight. on the Paramotor.

The UKPPG Simulator allows Students and experienced pilots alike, to practice (Under Power, Engine Running) taking off, all of the skills required in-flight, like throttle control, entry and exiting the harness, trimmer setting, brake controls and landing and this is all part of our training syllabus and all whilst still in the comfort zone of being on the floor.

We also use the simulator to professionally set up paramotor angles and harnesses.

We train on our own, specially designed and manufactured BUG 12m Training Wings (Pictured Below) which enable you to train in higher wind speeds when full size paragliders are deemed to be unsafe to use, this opening up a much larger training envelope of days which would normally be unsuitable to train in, we also have a full range of full size
paragliders for when you have become a more competent trainee or for lighter wind conditions.

Training and Flying is available all year round, 7 Days a Week (Subject to Weather) and set in the heart of the Fenland countryside we offer miles of flat scenic countryside and coastal cross countries expaditions to explore
when you are up and flying as a competent Pilot.

Our UKPPG Flying site has all the facilities rarely found on other sites Boasting a superb 9 acre, flat grassland,
flying field (1000ft x 330ft) complete with Mens, Womens and Disabled Toilets, fresh mains water and tea and coffee facilities
for use by our Members or Guests in our Training / Clubroom.

For more information on Training Rates and UKPPG and Fenland Wind and Airsports Memberships please contact the above numbers or drop us an email at info@ukppg.com or call on 01354 658778.

Below are some of our Students during their training at the UKPPG PPG Training School located at the Fenland Wind and Airsports Centre in March, Cambridgeshire,

"NEW" Bigger and Improved Training and Flying Field

UKPPG (Known as Fenland Wind and Airsports Centre) have now MOVED to our NEW larger Flying Field after Nearly 5 years at our previous location.

The NEW UKPPG Field is much bigger and much safer with NO Hazards, Wind Obstructions, or Electricity Pylons.
We have now established a 10 year lease on the new location and are developing the site to make it better for our students and UKPPG Members.

We have heavily invested in NEW onsite facilities including a new Training / Clubroom, Flight Simulator, Mens, Ladies and Disabled Toilets, Family Area, Parking and Camping Area and maintanance equipment.

We also have also re-newed and increased our 2012 stock of training and flying Equipment and this is also available now for Hire so if you are out and about and fancy a fly but left your equipment at home then just give us a call and hire for the day.

Anyone Flying In - Flying Over Head - or Flying From UKPPG are kindly asked to please adhere to the NO-FLY areas as illustrated in RED on the plan below.

SPECIAL ATTENTION TO ALL PILOTS

DO NOT fly inside of the BLUE BOXED Area at ANY TIME out of Respect for the Crematorium and the Golf Course.

Please pay Special Attention to the Chicken Houses to the South of our Site there is a 75m Minimum Distance away from any Chicken House at any time and you must NOT fly over these building at Any Time or inside of any of the Blue Boxed No Fly Zone, unless you are at high altitudes of 2500ft or Above.

There is a 500ft perimeter around all other local buildings / houses which as you know is standard CAA Air Law.

Please familiarise yourself with the areas prior to flying in, or passing through, and be courtious to our surrounding neighbours, with Dead Stick Landings (Engine Off) or approach on Tick-Over.

Thank you.
